Hi Everyone,

I was listening to the news the other day and someone mentioned something to me that made total sense to me, but no sense at the same time.

Someone was talking about how mainstream media and "Hollywood" talk about how bad America is. We never hear about our enemies and the horror that they spread throughout the world. The Susan Sarandons, her Son Tim Robbins, the Michael Moores, and Sean Penns of the world bash OUR troops and mention nothing about our true enemies which is Islam.

Why is it that the people of Hollywood (writers/actors) don't use their powers and go to Iraq, Iran, Syria or even Egypt to show a different way of life ?
No pen to paper about life in the United States verses a restricted life under rule of a fascist government dictated by religion.

Is the United States so horrible?
Should we strap a bomb to our chest and walk into a busy market place or school ?

I hear that Islam is a peaceful religion. I looked into this... It is peaceful - as long as you're under Islamic rule or law. If not...Off with your head !!!

Our Constitution goes against everything Islam !

Why is it OK to make fun of every other religion out there... but when it comes down to pointing out facts on Islam or even poking a little fun at Mohammad, off with your head.

I know it seems like I'm painting a broad picture of Islam. I shouldn't make such a blanket statement.

BUT... Why isn't any Muslim standing up and condemning this craziness ?

Hi Everyone,

I came across an old news story with a ton of new information. What the heck is wrong with journalism today?? Unless it's always been like this.

Remember the story about the kids that hung a noose over a tree branch to ward off other kids from an area that they hung out. Right... you remember white kids trying to keep out black kids... Then the reaction from the black kids supposidly was that they beat this kid (8-1) nearly to death. That's how I heard it at least.

Want to hear the whole story ?!!!? This is crazy ! The beating had nothing to do with the nooses and the nooses had nothing to do with the kids that happened to be black.

I came across this article by Pat Buchanan and I know a lot of people consider him a little on the looney side. Of those people that I've come across that make that claim, have never read anything by him. So, are those just heresay comments ?

Hi Everyone,

I'm very new to the world of Dems vs Republicans and look at both sides often.

I was a one time Lefty Mcleft and thought that Clinton was the best President and I felt bad for everyone. I thought the Gov. should help everyone and regulate certain things that go on in the Country.

Then.... I grew up.

I still take look at both views but...I can't seem to get a factual answer from the left side.

I seem to get a lot of finger pointing and complaining.

If I question anything I'm distracted with another topic and interupted and the conversation gets heated before I even get a full sentence out.

So, far noone is responsible for their own "back yard" ?
